Activities

Being an international association of national movements the activities of the ICMDA connect national movements and their members together, resourcing and equipping them to grow to Christian maturity and live out their faith within their clinical practice and beyond.

Gatherings and events

Conferences play an important role and are run throughout the regions which form the ICMDA. World Congresses of the ICMDA such as Who are you serving (2010) and Health & Hope (2006) occur 4 yearly. Such conferences inspire and connect Christians medics and dentists from around the world. Through a dedicated bursary fund raised for each conference, delegates who would otherwise not be able to attend are supported to do so. MP3 recordings and other resources from past ICMDA conferences are hosted at http://www.resources.icmda.net/

Training and resourcing

Leadership training prepares and equips the next generation of Christian leaders in medicine and dentistry. Provision of resources is through members of the ICMDA team internationally and regionally, member movements and the resources section of the ICMDA site. The devotional, Doctors Life Support 2 is available in book form and as a podcast.

Worldwide support

Across the world work is taking place supporting the emergence of new Christian medical movements. Movements which have been long established take a crucial role in supporting these initiatives; sharing their resources and experience through supporting leaders, sending teams and translating Christian medical literature.
