Membership Basis

Membership of the Association shall be of organisations whose individual members assent to the Basis of Membership. The Basis of Membership shall be:

‘The Revelation of the One true God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and the Gospel of Redemption and Regeneration through the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, as recorded for us in Holy Scripture (the Bible), which is the divinely inspired Word of God for faith and life’ (Matthew 28:19,20; John 14:6; 1 Corinthians 15:3 5 and 2 Timothy 3:16,17).

The Constitution of all Member Organisations must be in accord with the Basis of Membership.

Acceptance of membership of the International Association by any member organisation shall be deemed to imply agreement with the Basis of Membership, an acceptance of the provisions of this Constitution and Bylaws and a willingness to co operate in the spirit and letter of them. Applications for membership from organisations are submitted to the ICMDA Board for consideration and approval.

In all matters which concern the internal affairs of the respective co-operating societies and the contemporary situations within the various medical and dental professions, each Member Organisation shall be autonomous. The powers of the ICMDA being confined to discussion, advice and example.

Member movements of the ICMDA are asked to contribute to the life of the ICMDA through maintaining communication including submitting an annual report and contributing an annual subscription. Member movements have opportunity to share news, experiences and prayer, connect to other member organisations and participate in the meetings and committees of the ICMDA.
