Dr. Gene Rudd serves as Senior Vice President of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations – United States (CMDA-US), a membership organization of physicians and dentists founded in 1931. CMDA’s mission is to motivate, educate, and equip Christian physicians and dentists to glorify God.
Dr. Rudd is a specialist in obstetrics/gynecology and has experience in teaching, maternal-fetal medicine and rural healthcare. He has garnered several awards including the Gorgas Medal, presented by the U.S. government for the most significant achievement in preventive medicine. He has conducted several international programs with Samaritan’s Purse/World Medical Mission, including the formation of the Christian Medical Mission of Russia and the rehabilitation of the Central Hospital in Kigali, Rwanda. He co-authored Practice by the Book, a book that teaches doctors to practice and live their lives by biblical principles
