Kristian Kristensen, was born in1954 and lives in Denmark.
He was born into a Christian family, and in early life he accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour.
He was engaged in teaching in Sunday school and in leadership in Christian youth services.
He has two grown-up daughters and four grandchildren.
He studied medicine in Copenhagen and has specialized in Orthopedic surgery. Hid sub-specialty is shoulder- and elbow-surgery, and he is now working full-time in this narrow area at a private hospital.
Since he was a medical student he have attended the meetings and activities of Christian Medical Fellowship Denmark and was on the board 1996 – 2008, firstly as secretary, later as editor of the magazine of CMF Denmark, and 2002 – 2008 as chairman. He is still attached to the board as the international secretary. He exclaims that “The fellowship with Christian colleagues of all ages has been important and inspiring to me.”
Since 2002 he has been a member of ICMDA Executive Committee (now International Board).
From 2003 he has been a member of ICMDA Eurasia Committee, and from 2009 been serving as an officer of the committee and as the treasurer of ICMDA Eurasia.
Since 2008 he has been a trustee of the ICMDA UK Trust.
