Nurgul Mamyrova, an obstetric/ gynecologist and pediatrician from Kyrgyzstan, is one of the appointed Associate Student and Junior Graduates Executive Officers (ASIGEO) in ICMDA, responsible for the medical student ministry in the Eurasian Region.
Nurgul accepted Christ during her first year of medical studies and in 2001 became an active member of Kyrgyz Medical Fellowship by participating and leading ministry among medical students, coordinating mobile medical clinics to care homes and orphanages, and conducting local and national conferences for medical workers. She has been practicing medicine in Mission Hospitals in Pakistan and has also volunteered for short term in Bangladesh. Lately, she has been teaching in International School of Medicine in Kyrgyzstan. At present, she lives with her husband and kids in the UK.
