Wei-Leong Goh
South East Asia Regional Secretary
Dr Goh Wei-Leong, a family physician in a low-income neighbourhood, has a special interest in under-served communities. He co-founded HealthServe, an NGO that reaches out to under-served foreign workers in Singapore. HealthServe runs clinics, social case work, advocacy and mental health programmes.
Wei-Leong is active in the South East Asia region in community development and networking among disadvantaged communities. He co-founded and leads in various community engagement and public square platforms. He is also active in the global boards of Operation Mobilisation and SIL International.
Wei-Leong enjoys connecting with millennials and exploring global issues. He was a recipient of the Healthcare Humanity Awards 2015 and the Singapore Medical Association Merit Award 2018. He was awarded the ‘Singaporean of the Year 2017’ in recognition for his contribution to the low wage migrant community.
