LAVER/CROSS ASSESSMENT TOOL

The Laver & Cross are the emblems of the ICMDA logo. They are also the acronym for a tool that can help identify the needs and opportunities for a given country or national movement, particularly in regard to student and young graduate ministry.

It uses a scale that measures engagement across a number of parameters and 'scores' the group to describe its condition.

The scores range from 'Condition 0' where there is no engagement (no campus group, contact person or country champion) to 'Condition 5' where there is a sustainable and missional student and young graduate ministry.

The tool ought to be used to identify which areas need attention and how national leaders or ICMDA fieldworkers can support an area to develop and grow their student and young graduate ministries.

ICMDA has many resources and training opportunities that will be highlighted once completing the assessment. Please answer the following ten questions as accurately as possible.
