Salt & Light in Dentistry

For Christians in dentistry the presence of Christ in their lives is through the Holy Spirit who is not understood by the world and therefore unknown. Such dentists are Spirit-filled, Christ-centred dentists. The life of Christ in them changes them from inside to out.

They may be located in private practice, dental schools, hospitals or community clinics. They may be generalists or specialists but what differentiates them from the world is the flavour of Christ in them. They are part of the salt of the earth seasoning the work environment with thankfulness, peace, love and humility. They always remember that the difference in them is because of the presence of Christ. Without Christ they are like salt which has lost its saltiness and has become flavourless and useless.

Methodology

The training track will involve weekly interactive Zoom sessions. Prior to each session trainees will need to watch that week's training video and respond to reflective questions on Slack. During the weekly session, participants will:

• Reflect on shared learnings from Slack
• Listen to mission leaders who share from his or her life
• Reflect together and learn in the session
