#261 The 2026 ICMDA World Congress 🗓

The 18th ICMDA World Congress is due to be held in Jeju Island, South Korea on 30 June - 5 July 2026. It is ICMDA's flagship event held every four years which brings together all its national member bodies for a week of fellowship, biblical teaching in Christian discipline and healthcare practice, worship, collaboration and a mutual exchange of ideas.

The congress theme is Building God's Kingdom amongst the Broken.

Prof Hyunmi Park
Professor of Medical Education at Korea University |  + posts

Prof Park is an associate professor at the Department of Medical Education, Korea University, where she instructs both undergraduate and postgraduate students in various health professions.
Her clinical background lies in surgery, with a specialisation in minimally invasive and robotic techniques in coloproctology. She holds a PhD in medical education, with research interests in global health, integrating UN SDGs into medical curricula, the development of soft skills for health professionals, and the application of technology in education.
Her international background has involved working and studying in Spain, the UK and Korea, which has enriched her and globally informed her comprehensive approach to education and research.
