Mario Ruiz

Central America Regional Secretary

Dr Mario Ruiz is a physician specialising in family medicine in Panama. He has been married for 14 years to the nursing graduate Fermina Santos, with whom he has two daughters: Rut and Halel. He is part of the family medicine residency program, serving as a permanent tutor and member of the research coordination of this programme. He also has studies in bioethics and research methodology.
He is a past president of the Panamanian Christian Health Association (ACPSA).
