Dr Paul Saba
Paul Saba, M.D. is a physician who has studied, trained, and worked in Canada and the United States, and internationally in war-torn Lebanon and Somalia, in Bangladesh, Honduras, the Ivory Coast, and Haiti.
Since 1998, Dr. Saba has actively worked to improve Quebec and Canada’s publicly funded health care through the Coalition of Physicians for Social Justice, which he co-founded and presides over.
He has successfully fought for free medication for the disadvantaged, nutritional support for the elderly, and physical fitness for children.
He has made presentations opposing assisted suicide and euthanasia before state legislatures in New Hampshire, Connecticut, and New York, and before international forums in Rome, Italy; Reykjavik, Iceland; Santiago, Chile; and Tbilisi, Georgia.
Presently he is contesting euthanasia and assisted suicide laws in Canada’s courts.
