Help sustain ICMDA’s vital fieldwork

Launched at the 18th ICMDA World Congress in South Korea, this appeal will help equip and connect Christian doctors and dentists, strengthen national movements, and sustain vital fieldwork across the world.

Christian medical and dental leaders are bringing hope, compassionate care and faithful witness to their communities. Through ICMDA’s Development Fund, we can equip these leaders to help start and strengthen national movements and enable their ministries to flourish.

We are delighted that 16 new national groups were welcomed into ICMDA membership at the 18th ICMDA World Congress in South Korea. This encouraging growth is due in large part to the outstanding work of our fieldworkers, who build relationships, mentor emerging leaders and patiently help national associations become established and sustainable.

Why the Development Fund matters

The Development Fund is the lifeblood of ICMDA’s fieldwork. It supports three essential areas of ministry:

  1. Salaries for over 20 field staff.
  2. Grants for travel and expenses for 78 regional fieldworkers.
  3. Bursaries for students and doctors from LMICs to attend regional conferences and access training.

The Development Fund directs support to places where resources are limited but the opportunities for lasting impact are great.

It enables emerging leaders to receive training, encouragement and fellowship—and helps national movements grow into strong, locally led communities.

  • Support fieldworkers serving across ICMDA’s 14 world regions.
  • Mentor and equip young Christian medical and dental leaders.
  • Start and strengthen national associations.
  • Deliver practical, biblically grounded training in multiple languages.

  • Advance Christian witness, healthcare mission and whole-person care.
