As much of the world awakens to the promise of spring, at ICMDA we are filled with renewed hope and dedication to our mission of equipping Christian doctors and dentists to lead with excellence and compassion. Today, I write to invite you to join us in this vital endeavour through your generous support.
In these unprecedented times, the need for well-trained medical and dental leaders who embody both professional excellence and unwavering faith has never been greater. Through our comprehensive webinar series, tailored training tracks, and rigorous diploma courses, ICMDA is empowering a new generation of healthcare professionals to navigate the complexities of their fields with integrity and grace.
Join us in empowering Christian medical leaders
Your partnership with us in this mission is invaluable. With your support, we can continue to expand our reach, providing access to high-quality training and mentorship to aspiring Christian medical and dental leaders worldwide. Your contribution will enable us to:
- Develop and deliver more cutting-edge weekly webinars (194 thus far) on crucial topics such as medical ethics, spiritual care in healthcare, and leadership principles rooted in Christian values.
- Build further our specialized training tracks (over 130 ten-week courses run since 2020) designed to equip professionals for leadership roles in areas such as global health, medical missions, leadership and evangelism.
- Enhance our family medicine diploma course (thus far training 190 people from 55 countries) and make it available next year in French, Spanish and Russian.
Our goal for this spring appeal is to raise £50,000 for our 'Development Fund', which will directly fund the expansion and enhancement of our training programmes. This will help us to employ four training coordinators in Asia, Europe, Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa and to support our 70 fieldworkers and over 100 training facilitators from over 50 countries around the world.
Your support plays a pivotal role, not only in enabling our fieldworkers to start and strengthen national associations of Christian doctors and dentists but also to provide bursaries for regional conferences, enabling doctors and dentists from resource poor regions to access valuable information, build networks, and contribute to the improvement of healthcare in their regions. Over ten regional conferences are being held this year alone.
Every amount donated brings us one step closer to equipping and empowering Christian medical and dental leaders who will make a difference in their communities and beyond.
