#80 Promoting women’s health globally
Valerie Huber
Valerie Huber was Special Representative for Global Women’s Health during the 2016 Trump Administration, during which time the Geneva Consensus Declaration was signed by 35 nations who committed to protect life, women's health, the family, and the right of a country to make their own laws on these issues.
Huber cofounded 2 nonprofit organizations (REACH and Ascend) and launched a professional credential for Sexual Risk Avoidance - to empower young people to make healthy decisions in relationships, build personal responsibility, treat others with respect and avoid risky behaviors.
Currently, Huber is President of the Institute for Women’s Health, which promotes the highest attainable health and wellbeing for women, and president of Artifex Strategic Advisors, which helps organizations maximize their impact.
