Dr John Day is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases & General Medicine at Southend University Hospital, UK and spent 5 years working in Zimbabwe and South Africa where he was developing HIV and TB services with a gold mining company. He has published on the impact of TB on HIV progression, TB screening algorithms in high HIV and TB prevalence settings and on HIV testing. He is an honorary senior lecturer at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
