#133 – Servant Leadership
With Dr Alex Bolek
Leadership is one of the most challenging areas in Christian Ministry. For hundreds and thousands of years, many types of leadership have been developed, but though some of those leadership styles are good, something important is missing in them, the element of being a servant.
The term 'Servant Leadership' was first coined by Robert Greenleaf in the 1970s but even before that, two thousand years ago, the Lord Jesus came as a servant who washed the feet of His followers.
In this talk, we will try to answer the questions:
- What is servant leadership and how is it developed?
- How do I become a servant leader like my Master, the Lord Jesus?
