#181 – Organ donation euthanasia 🗓
With Dr Trevor Stammers
In every country which has legalised euthanasia, organ donation following euthanasia has also been legalised eventually. In Canada, organ removal was integrated to the euthanasia practice from the very start.
The utilitarian case for it is overwhelming logical - if it is ethical to allow doctors to end a patient's life to relieve their suffering, then giving that patient the opportunity to save other lives naturally follows.
This seminar will explore how organ donation euthanasia has grown, especially in Belgium and Canada, consider the arguments put forward for it and offer a biblical Christian response.
