#207 The Cass Review: Reaction and Implications 🗓
With Dr Julie Maxwell
The clinical management of children who are questioning their gender or experiencing gender dysphoria is a hotly contested topic throughout the world. In 2020 NHS England commissioned an independent review of services for children with gender dysphoria. In April this year the final report was produced after almost 4 years of work and research.
The findings and recommendations have sparked interest and caused significant debate internationally. This webinar will look briefly at some of the key findings and recommendations.

Dr Julie Maxwell
Dr Julie Maxwell has over 20 years experience working in Community Paediatrics. She works for Lovewise, a charity which seeks to help parents, youth groups and schools by providing presentations and resources on the subjects of marriage, sex and relationships from a Christian perspective. These roles led Dr Maxwell to become interested in the management of gender dysphoria in children and over the past 8 years she has become increasingly involved in the debate both in secular clinical and Christian worlds. Dr Maxwell is particularly interested in how we as Christian medial professionals as well as churches can best support children who are questioning their gender and their families.
