#91 Maternal mortality and the myth of safe abortion
With Dr Donna Harrison
Some claim that elective abortion legalization is necessary for reduction of maternal mortality.
Is that claim actually supported by evidence?
This webinar will raise questions about terminology and methodology used to coerce global abortion legalization. The presentation will explore the interwoven network of development funding with changing abortion policies and the top-down neocolonialization fostered by such strings tied to development funding. The effects on women from abortion legalization will also be explored as well as suggestions for future research.
