Fieldworkers
ICMDA has over 70 volunteer fieldworkers, all of whom are ‘tentmakers’ in that, like the apostle Paul (Acts 18:1-4), they support themselves in their ministry through their paid employment.
We have four different appointments: Associate Executive Officers (AEO), Regional Secretaries (RS), Regional Representatives (RR) and Area Representatives (AR).
Associate Executive Officers
An AEO promotes the mission and vision of ICMDA among students and junior graduates across multiple regions. An AEO supports an RS in the selection, leadership development/training and support of RRs and ARs in a given region.
Regional Secretaries
A Regional Secretary promotes the mission and vision of ICMDA in one of our 14 world regions by liaising with leaders of national fellowships to strengthen and encourage their movements, and to promote the development of new member bodies in nations where there are none. An RS appoints and manages Regional and Area Representatives within their region.
Regional Representatives
A Regional Representative assists the AEO and RS in the leadership development/training and support of national student and junior graduate leaders in a whole region (with the exception of Europe and Eurasia which are divided into sub-regions, and other regions where there are natural divisions by language.)
Area Representatives
An Area Representative assists the AEO and RS in the leadership development/training and support of national student and junior graduate leaders in one part of a region.
